For Patients at Higher Risk
Many of our patients have conditions which may compromise their immune systems. These conditions make them even more susceptible and vulnerable to complications from COVID-19. Patients with weakened immunity should call ahead of their scheduled appointments to inquire as to whether their medical appointments should be rescheduled as a TeleHeath to discuss medication refills and other health concerns.
What We are Doing to Protect Our Clinical Environment from COVID-19 Exposure
As the number of documented cases of Coronavirus continues to rise, we are committed to doing everything we can to continue providing quality care to our patients while taking every precaution to limit the exposure of our patients and staff to COVID-19. In doing so, we are implementing the following measures in our offices for the time being:
We are asking ALL patients with a fever of 100.4 or higher or a new acute cough to use the link on the main website page to schedule a telehealth visit until COVID-19 tests have been widely distributed throughout the Las Vegas area.
Additionally, if you have traveled outside the Las Vegas area in the past 14 days we ask that you request a telehealth visit.
To request a telehealth visit, please use the Request Appointment Icon found on our main website at: www.lvlungs.com.
Requesting virtual visits, also known as telehealth or telemedicine, makes it easy to access care from your doctor, via a secure video or phone appointment, from your home or on the go.
In Office Visits:
We will be screening all patients, visitor, physician, and staff member for COVID19 symptoms (including temperature) prior to entering our facilities.

Wellness Way/Gold Ring – Push 1. followed by 2
7 Hills Office – Push 1 followed by 4
Lake Mead Office - Push 1, followed by 3
Cathedral Rock Office - Push 1, followed by 5
A staff member will take your cell phone number and ask that you stay in your vehicle to wait for your appointment.
When a room is available the staff member will contact you on your cell phone and request that you come into the clinic.
Please note we are allowing only one care giver per patient and ask that you only have the caregiver enter the facility if it is absolutely necessary; we cannot accommodate more than one caregiver per patient at this time.
What You Can Do to Protect Yourself and Others
COVID-19 has reached our community. We all have a role to play in limiting the spread of Coronavirus, to protect ourselves from becoming sick, and to keep our healthcare system from becoming overwhelmed to the point of not being able to care for patients in need of critical care. Most people who become infected with Coronavirus experience mild illness and recover, but it can be more severe for others. Take care of your health and protect others by doing the following:
If you feel unwell, STAY HOME, go to https://www.lvlungs.com and request a live telehealth visit with one of our physicians or nurse practitioners.
Avoid close contact with any people who are sick.
Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water for 20 seconds.
SOCIAL DISTANCE - Maintain at least 6 feet distance between yourself and others.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
Make sure you, and the people around you, follow good respiratory hygiene.
If you think a surface may be infected, clean it with a simple disinfectant to kill the virus.
